HTC Facebook Chat Widget Issues

has anyone had any issues with this? This is my second Rezound and it did it on my first. For some reason if it goes inactive or disconnects or something (I'll leave it on all day) when go i to interact with it, it will cause the phone keep relaunching HTC Sense, and in order for me to use the phone I have to kill the process in the Manage Applications then delete the widget off the homescreen.
