I tried that and there is no .zip when I rename but when in checks it on the phone the .zip is there.. because it is a zip file right?

Very important to make sure SD is formatted to fat32. Not fat. Not fat16. If it still isn't loading try your wife's SD card. Hboot is a picky sob at times.

Ok.. so you are awsome!!!!!! I formatted disk on my xp laptop instead of my windows 7.. I dont know why it would matter but did..and put file on and worked just like you said... Thanks for all your help!!!!

thank god i found this thread, I got my phone today and bricked it, used titanium backup but i dont think it did a sufficent backup since i used the freeware. bookmarked

I have tried this method but it keeps bootlooping in the HTC incredible page, What Do i do????
