HTC released the U Ultra this year. The phone was met with plenty of criticism. Most people didn't like the price point for what the phone was. The phone seemed large enough to fit a larger battery and surely large enough to include a headphone jack. Pretty much the only nice thing anyone could say about the phone was to give HTC props for the camera and design. HTC may be looking to finally annouce the rumored "HTC Ocean" phone in April.
This will be the HTC U and reports indicate that it will include a 5.5" QHD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, and an all new gesture technology that works with the U's metal frame. HTC probably should have released this to begin with or waited to release a phone until this was ready. The phone should be announced some time in April with an expected launch in May.
