All of the rumors regarding a large new HTC smartphone proved true. HTC just unveiled the HTC One E9+. The device will sport the following specs:
  • 5.5-inch QHD 2560 x 1440 resolution display
  • 20MP camera on the rear
  • UltraPixel camera on the front
  • 3GB of RAM
  • MediaTek’s 64-bit 8-core MT6795M chipset
For the most part, this will be a product which will be marketed in China, and perhaps some additional Asian markets. What's surprising is that HTC revealed this device ahead of their April 8th event in Beijing. Considering this is a mid-range device, perhaps they didn't want it "upstaging" their HTC One M+, which is likely to be the headliner of the show that day.
