It would be a break from their normal M.O., but the current rumor suggests HTC may delay the unveiling of their HTC One M10. HTC could be planning to reveal it at their own March event instead of Mobile World Congress 2016. Supposedly, the struggling mobile manufacturer is having problems nailing down the final design characteristics for the M10.

The intel indicates that HTC has "sent back" multiple prototypes to their design team because they really want to change things up this year. That would be a wise move considering how poorly the HTC One M9 was received last year.

It's not that it was an ugly device. On the contrary, the M9 is an attractive offering. Unfortunately it was too similar both externally and internally to the previous year's HTC One M8. Because of this, consumers were not persuaded they had any reason to switch to it. HTC really needs a hit this year, or it could be curtains for them.

The rumor-mill also had some supposedly leaked specs for the HTC One M10. Here's what was revealed:
  • Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • 23 MP rear camera
  • 3,000 mAh battery
  • IP68 certified for water and dust resistance
Do you folks think that HTC can pull a rabbit out of their hat and "wow" us again like they used to?
