Not too long ago we reported a rumor that the HTC One M8 would get the Android 5.0 Lollipop rollout on January 3rd. That date has come and gone, but the folks at HTC still haven't been able to push out Lollipop to HTC One M8 owners just yet. That started changing this morning.
According to reports, the Developer Edition of the HTC One M8 started getting the OTA rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop. This likely signals that the updated version of Android is not too far away from all of the other versions of the HTC One M8. More than likely it will come within the next couple of weeks. Here's a quote with a few more details,
The Android 5.0 update weighs in at nearly 585MB and includes the Lollipop UI along with enhanced privacy features. It includes the new "Recent App" page and the addition of search functions within the settings
Sound off if you happen to have the Developer Edition of the HTC One M8 and have started to get the update.
