We had the day off here at HQ yesterday, so we didn't catch the HTC One Max announcement. We are sharing it now, but we also have some additional info from this morning to add to it. First, here's the full spec-list:
  • 5.9 inch Full HD display
  • Measures 164.5 x 82.5 x 10.29 mm, and weighs 217 grams
  • Runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Sense 5.5
  • Fingerprint Scanner on the back (users can “lock or unlock the screen and quickly launch up to three favorite applications by assigning an individual finger to each”)
  • LTE
  • NFC
  • UltraPixel rear camera
  • 2.1MP front-facing camera
  • Quad-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 3,300 mAh battery
  • 16GB or 32GB onboard storage
  • Plus 50GB of free storage space on Google Drive
  • MicroSD card support
Here's a video of the new super-sized device.

The other info we have to share is that two carriers have already announced they will carry the device. Sprint in the United States and Vodafone UK have both shared they plan to offer the device on their network.

Reviews and chatter haven't been that stellar so far. This doesn't seem to quite live up to what most people were hoping for and I've yet to see anything saying it's comfortable in-hand. Shame that this didn't manage all that it could have, so it's looking like the Note 3 is probably my next device once the Dev edition drops.
