According to HTC, the Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Rezound is available today. Verizon hasn’t mentioned it yet and no reader of ours has reportedly received it, so we are as confused as you probably are. For what it’s worth, their support page has all of the dirty details on it
.

My January update took about that long, most of it the install time. Heck it takes my phone about 4 minutes just to boot up when I power it down

The boot up from power down takes me 20 sec with ICS, maybe less.

This is the part that worries me. I am on an ICS leak (locked, not rooted). Am I going to run into any problems with this OTA when it comes?

I saw that too. If it is the same as the latest leak I'm not real concerned because the leak I have isn't much different. I'll just wait and see what happens when someone else tries to get the ota with a leak. I'm sure someone out there is braver than I am.

So, wait, is this available for download anywhere or do we have to wait for an OTA?

I have a friend with a Rezound who has been waiting for ICS.

I live in a 3G area and it takes my phone that long to power up, but when I am in a 4G area it is much quicker. I have always assumed it took so long because it was hunting for a 4g signal and finally gives up, but you know what they say about assuming.

Seems like Verizon put the foot down and made htc take it down. Should we not expect it now? I have a feeling it will not get here soon. Hope im wrong
