HTC type calendar for Droid?

Is there a way to get the month/day type homescreen that is always shown on the HTC phones on the original Droid?

I have tried searching for it under apps but couldn't find it. A friend of mine has an Incredible with that on it and it also shows the up-to-date weather, like if its raining, there will be "rain" on the homescreen and after a few seconds, a windshield wiper wipes the screen clear. I would love to get it but don't want to have to get a new phone.

Any help?

Search for "Beautiful Widgets" in the market. It's a paid app and works great.
