For users who want their HTC One in a more "vanilla" flavor of Android, HTC has announced there will be a Google Play Edition of the device. It eschews any form of Sense UI and instead comes with Android 4.4.2 (although it does include some of the newer camera software to take advantage of the Duo Camera functions). It will be available for online order on the Google Play Store later today for $699.
That's not all. HTC will make a Developer Edition of the HTC One M8 available as well. It too will be available today, but you need to go to HTC's website to get it. The device will sell for $650 and will be SIM unlocked so you can flash whatever software or ROM you want on it. Links aren't up quite yet, but if you find them, please add them to this thread.
