hy isnt my email updating?

I have my yahoo mail configured in the droids email app, and foe some reason when I go in its showing me messages from yesterday am that I've since downloaded at home. It is not updating to show actual new mails which I see when I go into webmail, and its not clearing old ones.

What's the deal

Old posts, but may help you out. I cant stand Yahoo email so I don't have a direct answer. You can probably get closer to what you need from these posts...
