I am really not liking 2.3.3 how do I revert back to older os version?

I had to replace my old DROID x. And this DROID x now is updated, and I really dislike it. The keyboard is different in a bad way. It mis touch a lot. And my social apps don't work correctly any more. I can't even post pictures. Also I notice that I can't copy and paste like I use to. There isn't a option to paste from clipboard any more.

Wow please, how do I revert back the os?

Subscribed.... I prefer the last POS...not a big fan of the upgrade. I agree with the caits and paste thing but I do like how the cursor can be moved easier.

You will have to sbf your phone back to froyo. There are two methods in doing so. Go here http://sites.google.com/site/1kdsdroidx/ for the files and guide.

You can disable the gingerbread keyboard. I prefer it over multitouch, it did take a few days to get used to it though.

Wow,, my Keyboard on this thing became Invisible. man oh man, What was Google thinking, when they released this? I had to download a free Keyboard app because of this bug.

Gingerbread is terrible!!!! (IMO)

After I got used to it, I like the .595 keyboard better than Froyo. The .573 leak keyboard was terrible. I don't like how annoying it is to copy and paste though.

If you want to get back to froyo you are going to have to SBF. Follow this guide: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-x-rooted-help/100038-complete-droid-x-sbf-flashing-guide.html

I would try to stay on gingerbread though because it makes the X way better. Blame Motorola for problems because of there motoblur. I would recommend rooting it and installing Liberty or Apex roms. It will make the device a lot more responsive and speed it up.

+1!!!!! dancedroid:icon_ banana:
