I could really use some help

First off, I love this rom, I have used many, but this is by far the best. It seems my problem is a common one. I have seen many others complain about it, and so far I have tried everything I have come across to no avail. I can't get maps to install. I have tried terminal scripts, manually installing the apk, etc etc, and it just will not install. When I try the terminal scripts it just says failure.

I am at a loss at this point, I am usually good with these roms, but this one is just kicking my butt. I am very sorry if you are getting tired of seeing map problems, but I am kind of at my wits end here.

When you entered the terminal scripts was everything identical to how JRummy wrote, capitalized letters and all? I had that trouble at 1st. All the letters need to be exactly the way JRummy wrote them out. You also need to be sure to hit enter after each line and confirm that it has performed each action.

Hope I'm not telling you stuff you already know.
