I had this Desire 612 from Verizon and every time I tried inserting a foreign SIM I was getting a 'non Verizon SIM' error. I succeeded in rooting it using KingRoot after using Sunshine to s-off.
I came across a recommendation of getting rid of the SIM error by deleting setup wizard file. I did but the SIM error persisted. After a Factory reset, am now getting this error.
How do I go about restoring the system file?
