I don't understand....

OK so I have had my droid for 3 weeks, and I absolutely love it. I don't understand all the people that are saying they switched the the Rezound or are waiting for the Prime. Since I have had the phone I have had to reset it not one time. The battery life with what I consider heavy use will last 10+ hours. That's playing games, being on the internet, Email and Facebook being pushed, and streaming small videos here and there. If I take it easy on it I will get 24+ hours. The build quality seems the be flawless from what I can tell (I realize it is early to judge build quality but it seams real solid). Maybe its just me but I don't think there is a phone on the market or coming anytime soon that can even compare to the total package that this phone is. Just one guys opinion... Your thoughts?

The Razr does seem to be a quality phone. It just doesn't offer as much to me as the Nexus does. The nexus has an unlocked bootloader.
It doesn't have buttons.
It has an amazing screen.
It won't have any skin or bloatware.
It will get immediate upgrades from Google.
It will have a great dev community.
The software will play nice with the hardware since Google designed it all.
Yep... That's why I think it's the best!

Ok I guess its just me then. Hope your as happy with your nexus as I am with my razr

I read the Nexus will have some Verizon apps preinstalled, has that changed?
If that is still the case, won't that mean updates will still have to go thru Verizon?

No one else's phone has to suck for you to enjoy yours. I got into the Razr for things that aren't and probably won't be on the Nexus. Moto specific things like MotoCast, Smart Actions, and WebTops. Choice is good. I'm glad we've got this kind of variety in phones and android devices in general.

When ICS is released for all the phones...Nexus, Razr, Bionic, and Rezound, us Razr owners will still have the most sexy looking phone. Because ICS is the only reason to get the Nexus in my opinion.

First, who knows when you'll get it! ;)

See my above post, those were pretty much all unique things to the nexus! It's going to have an unblocked bootloader. Immediate updates from Google with no bad skin! no physical buttons. The camera is incredible! No buttons!!! Yep... Just to name a few!

That's why they make different phones, different strokes for different folks.

I'd be remiss if I didn't at least take a hard look at the Nexus when it comes out. With that being said, I just don't see me exchanging my Razr for the Nexus. I really dislike Samsung phones. The radios are worse than HTC, and that's saying something.

Oh f that then.

That was my main fear with the nexus ...learned my lesson from the thunderbolt.

Doesn't matter what kind of bells and whistles it has...the reception and build matter the most.

Well said! Gotta have reception and build! Without that it doesn't matter what it comes with, don't forget its still a phone. What good is a phone if you can't make calls or do messaging? Nexus/Samsung phones don't do well in my area. Hell we wont see 4g here till probably the end of 2012 or 2013, so its a no brainier for me. Most of what the Prime has I can't use anyways.
