Like many, I have been eagerly awaiting 2.1 for my Droid. But from what I can see through my tiny glasses, the release has been delayed or pushed back at least twice, and even discounting 99% of what we hear in these threads as rumors, if not out and out lies, we still would all have to admit to the fact that this process has gone on longer than we reasonably expected it might, right? So my question: Why? It seems that there is clearly some quality issue with the software. If that is the case, and if they don't have it bullet-proof, I DON'T WANT IT! It has features that I'd like, but I'm not willing to give up the stable, reliable phone I have now for a better photo gallery app. Does this make sense? The longer this drags out, the greater sense I have of how "not ready for prime time" this OS upgrade must be... VZW, take your time- even when it comes out, I'm waiting a few weeks to update until I see if it REALLY is solid. Anyone else feel like me?
