I dropped my Droid X and have a oval of dead Pixels

I recently dropped my Droid X and now I have a oval about 1 inch high and 2 inches wide of black lines. I do have a case on my phone and I do have insurance. Would I have to pay a deductible to get another Droid X even though there is no physical damage and the phone looks brand new?
