I'm really excited!! I will be upgrading tonight from the Curve 8330.

What changes must I make to my account in order to get the full droid experience?

They will make you get the full data plan, that is all you need.

Enjoy, you will love it!

Well he did say he had a BB Curve, so there won't be any difference in fees. Though, the name of the data plan I think will change. I think the BB plans are the same exact thing, but named different on the account. "Email and Web" is the data plan for all phones other than Blackberry models.

Shouldn't be anything different on the account other than that minor difference, and the overall cost will remain the same. As I assume with the BB Curve you are currently paying $30/month for data, and that's the same for all smartphones.

Besides the minor change in your account, you might also want to export your contacts from your BB to a CSV file and import it to a gmail account you setup for your phone.

This is also presuming you aren't using Verizon's network to backup your contacts that way or use a Corporate Exchange Server, as the Droid, out of the box, does not have any software to sync a home version of Outlook to the phone or to G-mail at the moment.
