I have a couple question on putting music on my Droid.

What is the best way to download music from my PC to a Droid? I downloaded Motorola's Media Link... However, does anyone know if they are automatically converted to an MP3 file?

I downloaded one song and it works fine, I just hope that I didn't just take up 25% of my memory on one song.

So long as they are not protected files, Droid will play them. Doesn't have to be mp3.

I used to use Double Twist but that program would run so slow and constantly hung up. All you need to do is copy & paste whatever mp3's you want to your Droid's music folder. Your PC should allow you to explore and read your Droid as a drive once you've "mounted".

I don't suggest converting them but if you want to you can do it on iTunes. You select the files you want to change, go to advance, and convert to mp3. It's that simple.

But it's really not necessary.
