i have a question about overclock/underclocking with darkslide?

Don't know too many that OC with this ROM. I know I don't believe in it and don't think this ROM needs it. Why ruin something that is already fast and stable with something that is not? JMO.

I gave QuickClock a shot and it took a lot of the hastle out of configuring my DX. Lower VSEL's to just above tolerance and that's a huge battery saver right there. I have my device underclocked to 800mhz for every day use and it runs absolutely smooth. I very rarely ever have to turn up the speed on my processor. Some games do require faster processing speeds but not many, and for that I usually put my phone in its charging dock and overclock to 1100mhz to 1300mhz. The only thing I have autosync is gmail, and I even turn that off if I forget my spare battery or something. I've also taken a liking to JuiceDefender and have all data services turned off when my phone is in sleep mode. I'm also running Darkslide and I absolutely love it. Moral of the story is, I bought my spare battery when I was running stock settings. Now my spare is pretty much for my wife's DX since she's still running stock. Amazing how just a few things can make such a huge difference.

I undervolt and overclock to 1.45ghz and the phone is completely stable and SCREAMS. Also, with the extended battery get 15-20+ hours.

Battery life depends mostly on usage obviously, I run 2 companies and its my company phone....so it gets used ALOT.

PS- And charge my phone at night....so I could care less as long as I get at least about 12-14 hours.

Stock I was lucky to get eight hours of battery life, but I use my DX a lot. Depends on how you use your phone I guess. Downloading things over 3g and doing some serious system configuring after loading a new rom and data wipe I've killed a fully charged battery in under two hours.

Let me add that with heavy use I still get 24+ hours.
