I have a solution to droid 3 lag!!

So I've had my droid 3 since monday and its lagged like crazy when i press the home screen. A lot of you guys probably suffer from the same problem, cause of the motoblur UI. So just to let everyone know that doesnt already know, download launcher pro for free or launcher pro plus for $3.49 and its a LOT FASTER than the custom home screen. you can still resize widgets with the Plus version and it makes it worth having the droid 3.

I'll throw another tip in here that many might not know or have done. No matter what your UI, go into your settings > display > animations and change it to no animations.

also, get Spare Parts+ and set animations to Fast

That's the one thing I've never had problems with. Its alway been fast for me but I do love the launchers.

Good tip, thanks. I forgot about spare parts.

I'm using ADW EX myself, so far zero redraws. My biggest gripe with the blur home was the constant redraws. The homescreen would redraw even when I opened the hardware keyboard. Not so with ADW.
