I need a new suggestions on a new extended battery for my OGD1

I cant remember who recommended the P.O.S. extended life battery for my OGD that i bought 2 months ago but its even worse now then my stock battery is, so I guess what i need to know is which is the best battery i can get for the d1 esp since im OC'ing pretty high I'm not have any OC'ing problems or FC's but the last battery i was told to get from here was decent for about 3-4 weeks and after that it turn to crap literally, my stock batterie will last 3 to sometimes 4 times longer then the extended batt. so can anyone help out of experience ? for instance im assumming the better the mAH rating is the better the batterie like i was told last time but i bought the highest i could and it was just crap. (prob BS brand, I really have no clue)
so few questions
1. Should i still go with the highest mAH rating available
2. id like to have a ext baTT that fits decent or even a case i can buy to cover it up a little bit
3. theres some pretty cheap high rating mAH batts available but im thinking to stay away from the cheap ones but i have no idea what the good brands are anyway and money isnt an option ill spend what ever i need to, to be able to max my cpu while im using it through out the day (probably 2-4 hrs of talk time and probably close to 2 hrs at most online messing around depending on how slow the work day is but i want it to keep as much charge as i can get it to throught the whole day.

can u guys give me some pointers or even link me to what i should be looking for ?
Thanks you guys so much in advanced.

p.s. Im not exactly a noob when it comes to the d1,d2 or even the tbolt and actually not even to this site i just usually dont post becase i always search for answers before i repost and look like a idiot. (now that i said that this is probably a repost )
but i would really appreciate any comments, opionions or links on this subject
Thanks again

I've had great success with the stock extended battery (BP7X) from Verizon. It out performs the hideous Seidio "hump-back" that I bought.

Thanks bro im gonna give it a shot, I really want to upgrade my phone but really have no idea on a replacement to get that basicly has all the functionallity (after root ) that the og does.
I just dont want to go spend a ton of money (not eligable for upgrade for like 5-7 months if i remember correctly) on a phone and findout that its not rootable or even if it is with my luck I wouldnt be able to do half the stuff I can do with the OGD1.Dont get me wrong I would gladly spend $400-$700 on a new droid just has the after root capabilitys that the OG does I love the OG but Im Starting to have alot of problems with it

Ok This is probably a STUPID question but all the BP7X's I see advertised (ebay, cannot even locate on the verizon site) for the Droid 2, so is it still gonna work for the OGD1 ? Also am i gonna need to purchase a different battery cover to use with it ?
Thanks for all the help guys

I've been using the BP7X in my OG Droid for about six months. Fits perfectly, lasts all day, and ships with a battery cover. The only tiny "gotcha": The cover is dark blue like the Droid 2, not black like the OG. But the blue is so dark it's hardly noticable.
