With the issues surrounding the Bionic and the utter lack of support from Moto (HTC, too), can we have an ASUS phone please?!?

I have the Eee Transformer tablet (and I have tried them all, including the iPad) and I have to say, it has been a pleasure using it. It has been an amazing tablet to use, not only spec-wise, very well priced and has worked without issues for me.
And the first thing I thought when I saw the tablet's price was "there would be no support for that price". But what do you know, an update comes around every other month. Not that I needed anything to get fixed, but maybe someone did? And this for almost 1/2 the price of a Bionic paperweight.

I have to admit - I am not a fan of their mobos, but if they came out with a phone tomorrow - I am paying full price to get it!

C'mon ASUS!

Don't know if they'd get into the phone game, haven't seen one by them or any word of it.

Yes I love my transformer as well. Best support on a device I have eve seen. Plus we will get IC soon. Unlike this crap HTC TB I am using with still no update.

They will be releasing the Padfone in early 2012.

do you know which carrier will carry the padphone if that is the right name. One more question I am planning on buying the transformers 2 since it has no sim card is the best way to use it by mifi?

It's launching overseas first, Asia, UK. etc. Not sure on the launch date for the US. I know the first will be GSM model. Not sure on CDMA version as of yet.

Get the latest update on ASUS Padfone.

I have unlimited data and unlimited mobile hotspot so that's the way I go.

There is a pad phone.

Though, any ASUS phone to be released here in the USA has been HORRIBLE.

I dont understand. Do you mean any phone that has been released has been horrible or do you assume the phones to be released will be horrible?

With the support Transformer owners are getting, I can only assume that an Asus phone would be awesome.
BTW, I just got a firmware update yesterday for the Transformer. I am still waiting on Moto...Whatever Asus pulls out - can't be that bad.

The ASUS phones here have not been stellar.
