I need some help on rom please!

I need some 1 to tell me in black and white how to get custom rom on my dx2 all of the sbf and things is greek to me if I don't know how to make it transfer 1 way or another. Say the liberty rom from 1st step to the end please no abbreviations I am not very computer smart just want more from my phone. Thanks.

first step... you need to get tenfars recovery... it will tell you how to get into recovery...
second step... you need to get the rom...
third step... use an app like titanium back up or my back up to back up your data(do not back up system data)
fourth step... use system recovery(tenfars recovery) to reboot into recovery...
fifth step... you'll see the option to wipe data... select it... along with dalvik under advanced menu...
then install from sd...

tenfar's is a custom recovery for the x2... which allows you to flash custom roms and what not....

i know about holding power and volume down them my phone has the option of android recovery and the next menu is reboot system,apply update from sd, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, how do i go from there and how do i get the rom on my sd card do i put it in a file do i leave it zipped not sure

that is for the factory recovery... using the custom recovery... it will change your recovery... and will allow you flash this... factory recovery doesn't have that option...
and yes.. you wanna keep it untouched in the zip folder it comes indancedroid

haha.. it's all good... use astro zip.. to unpack and extract the apk(basically take the file out so you can use it)

then just install it like a normal app
