I need your opinion! I don't know what I should do!

I want a Samsung Vibrant, would cost me at least $250.00 on craigslist brand new or nearly new.

Currently, I am in a contract with T-Mobile, and it's over in January 30 2012 (a year from now).

1) Should I wait for contract to be over in a year, and get a new phone at a great price or free? I'm currently using an old sucky Blackberry 8330 model. I want to switch to Verizon.

2) Or..should I just buy the Samsung Vibrant now, and a year later get the new phone, sell my Samsung Vibrant and get about half the price of $250.00? Not a bad idea?

If you in this situation, what would you do if you have the money?

So the 200 dollars apply to me.

I'm thinking that I can just get the phone now for 250, and sell it and get around 100-150 bucks back.
