I think I found a bug.

Anyone noticed that when you have a app open that uses the menu button that it shows up on the lock screen? And when on the lock screen, if you press it it will unlock the phone? Here's what I'm talking about...

Same here. Also, the notification bar slides down when using the slide lockscreen.

I think this one was intentional. I remember hearing or reading somewhere that one feature of ICS was that you can check notifications without having to unlock your phone. I could be wrong on that but it seems familiar to me.

Yeah the notification during lock is intentional, it's so you can check notification details without unlocking.

Yeah. I've noticed it. Very minor if you ask me.

Not so minor IMO. What's the point of setting up security features if they don't actually work? Having to be sure I'm not active in an app that has a lower menu button before the screen locks is a bit annoying. And let's face it, nobody is going to remember to check every time.

Edit:

It only bypasses if face unlock, PIN or shape unlock are not enabled. If any of these are enabled, the button is there, but does nothing.

How much security does the slide lock give you anyways?

Definitely is an issue I'm seeing as well. Doesn't really both me personally and I would assume they can fix that pretty easily!

Only functions on slide unlock... which doesn't provide any security anyways, since if you slide left it goes to the camera and right unlocks without requiring any authentication. It's there on all the screen locks, but doesn't do anything on pin/passed/pattern/face. Only actually opens the app back up if you have slide lock selected. Slide lock isn't there for security, its there to keep you from pocket dialing your mom/boss when your drunk. It's a feature, not a bug.

No issue here as everyone should have some sort of security on their phone anyway. Slide to unlock is not security.
