This is not a snotty reply - I am genuinely curious:

When I read the Incredible's specs, yeah it's better, but it seems only marginally better than the Droid (provided you've rooted and overclocked). What is it about the Incredible that makes you want to ditch the Droid so soon?

I really want to know - maybe I'm missing something. Is it just the desire to stay on the cutting edge, or does it resolve some big shortcoming?

For me it is mainly the fact that I don't use the physical keyboard at all. I can't see that it being new etc doesn't appeal to me but it really is the extra bulk of the pk that has me considering it.

My wifes HTC flies compared to my Droid.
Think HTC has a better handle on Android than Moto does.

wow, my good sir you want to jump ship becuase of the incredible? i dont know abot y'all but im stickin with the droid. i'm not made of money and it's a waste to buy the newest phone when it first comes out .its only gonna be slightly better. viva la :motdroidvert:

MY wife's Eris is super smooth. Makes me want ot jump back to HTC, but i would not spend $600 for this phone, when I have the Moto Droid and they are compatable. I'll wait for my next upgrades in August or November. By then that phone will be under $100.

I'm waiting on OLED or some other screen tech so that battery life isn't as bad.

Imagine if the screen only used 25% of the power it does now...Your phone would last much longer!
