Icarus HD is based off of Motorola Blur .247 and had been debloated, deodexed, and optimized to the max.
There are tons of features without compromise on performance or space. This ROM is the best of all worlds.
You get performance, the best battery life, tons of features, and Motorola's next generation Blur all in one package.

HOW TO INSTALL OTA UPDATES:
1. When you get the notification, tap 'Download'
2. When't its done, select your wipes
3. Then tap Install and wait for the update to install. Your phone will reboot normally after the update is finished.


HOW TO INSTALL:
1. Download ROM and put it on your SD Card
2. Wipe data and cache in recovery of your choice
3. Install the ROM and Reboot

But

Updated Stock Emoji SMS Resolution/Size Limit to get rid of error message when trying to send a picture.

Had to redo it because the big pictures werent uploading. So i just changed the allowed resolution

I had problems too. Wouldn't send a 1.35mb pic. I just installed a different messaging.apk from another ROM (blurrymaxx) for now. It's working...

I'll report back on battery after a full normal day tomorrow.

So far Icarus HD works great! I just moved out of town and had no signal what so ever. After upgrading to Icarus (yes, I said Upgrade) Not only can i make calls but i get 3g sometimes. The battery life is the best i have had in a while and it is very smooth. I do have one question about the bluetooth. I seem to have this random scratchy noise pop in on my headset. I thought it may be my bad signal issues at the new house but i just tried it in town and i still have it. Let me know if its my issue.

Well, I was in a couple of rough coverage spots today (i leave 4g on always) and flashed the OTA (twice) all since coming off the charger at 5am. With that said, here's battery so far: *extended battery *

Nice! And about the Bluetooth. We have no control over that. Its been untouched. Its blur most of that stuff is signed by motorola

I edited my post... extended battery.

Tomorrow should be a better test.

I can't really test any Bluetooth, I don't use it. I use the factory car dock thru the audio cable.

BTW, I only wiped cache for ALL the ota's, haven't seen any ill effects yet.
