Ice Cream Sandwich battery life compared to Gingerbread?

Is it possible to know if Ice Cream Sandwich results in better battery life when compared to Gingerbread? I know the leap between froyo and Gingerbread improved the battery life nicely. Does the support for dual core help battery life as well? Thanks in advance.

You can't really tell since the Galaxy Nexus never had GB. I get through a full day just fine though.
