ics camera

Does the camera take instant photos like the nexus? I am not sure if that is a feature that comes with the phone or with ics

Its funny. I don't have ics yet, and I only just got this phone a couple weeks ago... but I love this camera. Have read a few comments where people don't like this camera, but me coming from a droid x... this camera is worlds better. The droidx had a long delay this doesn't at all. Which is big when you're trying to catch quick picks of a 4 month and 4 year old daughters.

It's not quite as fast as on the Galaxy Nexus, but it's definitely much faster than it was.

The only problem with that, just like with the Nexus, is that there really isn't time to autofocus. It's fine if you have time to tap the screen to focus the camera before taking the shot, but not so great for trying to grab something quickly.

I'm still exploring my phone but I just found out this morning that in the camera settings you can switch the volume up/down button to either zoom up/down or the shutter. I change mine to shutter. Taking pictures now is a breeze for me.

Anyone with ICS having problems just opening up the camera..when trying to open up the camera to take a pic it goes straight to the previous screen..will not open at all..ugh
