Okay, the 360 thing on the camera is nifty. And it's nice to have both a timer and a stopwatch on the clock, and to let us put other timezones on it.

But what's with the lock screen? You used to be able to unlock directly into Google Now or the camera.

The clock is plug ugly with that bolded hour numeral.

But how does one get directly from the camera to the photos one has already taken???? I tapped all around the screen and found the flash, the photo effects, etc., but no way to get to the pictures I took a minute or two earlier. I had to get out of the camera and go to the gallery, which is a PITA. Is there something I missed???? :angry:

When your in the camera all you have to do is swipe left and it takes you to pictures. Also on lock screen at bottom is little round circle swipe up from that into Google now

The clock can be changed with 4.2. Long press it and remove the widget, then tap the plus button to add another one. Many apps have support the 4.2 lockscreen with their widgets, DashClock is pretty popular, but many others have offerings (Beautiful Widgets, HD Widgets, UCCW, to name a few). You can put non-clock widgets on your lockscreen too. You have more than one page.

Thanks for the tip on swiping left in the camera, mattjenn. That was driving me crazy. I also figured out what those vertical bars were that briefly appear on either side of the lockscreen...duh.

I also noticed the change to the keyboard--wasn't there formerly an app that did that? "Swype," wasn't it?

Is there a list on the forum of the 4.2.2 changes? I'll go hunt 'em up myself, too.

If you don't like the swipe feature it can be turned off just go into keyboard settings and uncheck gesture typing. Not sure about a list of changes in forum but I did see a change log from Google on internet somewhere you could probably Google it.
