If you get the M logo and you have a backup.
Pull your battery and place it back in after 5 seconds or so (so the phone is completely off)
while off plug your phone into the wall charger.
Then turn your phone on. If you get the charging screen press power again (I tried this and I actually had to hold the power button a little and it did not work the first time).
now you should be in clockwork recovery so you can do a restore if you made a backup.

If you can get into clockwork you can mount your sd card to put a stock rom on it.

method from newk8600 of xda

I just tried this and it doesn't work...

I am able to mount my sd card to my computer and copy over a rom that works but I am not able to load it since I can't get into recovery. I tried changing the name to "Update.zip" and seeing if it'll load that but I get an error "signature verification failed". What else can I try?

thing is the only way you can instal an update.zip is through clockwork. The stock recovery will fail if you try to install it.

What happens when you try the method. you get the battery I know but when you hit the power button your screen goes blank, you hit it again you will see your battery icon, you hold power you should see clockwork recovery.

yes I see the battery icon then I hold the power button then the M logo comes up and just stays there...

that is what I got as well I had to play with it toggling back and 4th...i finally got it on the 4th try. The reason we need clockwork recoery is because with out sbf that is the only way you can recovery your device. SO until we get an sbf it is either get lucky and get into clockwork or do a warranty exchange. Sorry for the new but that is what it is.

My phone did the battery charging hangup last night when I installed the 1500mh sedio battery. On the third try, after ctrl, shift, del it booted. Haven't done any bootstrap just rooted and removed some apps. It is working fine now.
