I'm going to buy a droid!

Hi,

Never even had a cell phone yet, but I'm going to get a droid. I've seen the HTC ERIS on ebay for only a $100 or so. Will this work ok? I would like to start out with an older device in case I loose it or break it. Also, I don't like signing a contract with any phone company.

welcome to the forum. IMO I would suggest going into any wireless store and try diff devices before buying, get a feel for it.

welcome to the forums. why don't you post your question over in the eris forum so you can get a better feel from those of us who have an eris. some of us have had our phones for almost a year and ahalf now and love it, while others absolutely hate it.
