I'm new to the forum and rooting... need some l33t help

I've been a devout android user.. and I tried to push my root abilites.. well i screwed up royally and my device services has "stopped unexpectedly"

no backups anything.

anyone know how i can undo these mistakes?

Im running android version 2.2.2
FRG83G

Rooted with gingerbreak
kernal 2.6.32.9-g68eeef5 Build@apa26#1

Please don't circumvent the language filter.

Do you have recovery?

If so, just load another ROM. If not, you need to flash recovery.

I have Clockwork rom manager but i dont know what rom i should use that would let me be able to use my device again the way its intended to run.

... any suggestions?

i honestly don't know what to tell you to do to undo what you've already done, but if this can be moved over to the eris forum there's probably someone there that can help. once you get back on track, if you really want a gingerbread rom for the eris, gsb is probably the best, here's the link [ROM][7/27] GSB v3.8 | CyanogenMod7.1.0 RC1 [2.3.5 GingerBread NIGHTLY] - xda-developers

I used this rom in particular.. didnt think the Droid 1 could support 2.3.1.. but i guess not kept my root and got all my services back

lol if your running 2.2.2 froyo the "bugless" rom just gets stuck in a reboot cycle
