I'm trying not to HATE my Droid X

I'm coming from a Rouge to DROID. It may be a smart phone but it makes me feel DUMB! I want to watch the tutorials so I can learn BUT I cant even get them to run!!!! :icon_cussing:

Eh....tutorials are ok.....but you'll learn more by doing. Ask some questions and we'll get all Androidified. There is a learning curve but once you get the basics....smooth sailing after that.

I cant seem to find a way to calibrate the touch of the screen keyboard. I set sounds & vibrations but that is all I could find. I can hover above a letter without even touching it...

Not a whole lot you can do about the keyboard sensativity. There's no settings for that.

As for saving a txt draft, yeah just don't send it and its saved as a draft I believe.

welcome to the forum. there's a link for diff online guides. to save draft u just hit ur back button (u turn arrow looking) till u exit text. but that's only to recontinue once u go back to that text.
in ur email u can save as draft

As a rule of thumb I always try and think of typing on a screen in reverse...typing doesn't happen until you RELEASE your finger from the screen after you've PRESSED the letter you want to type. Thinking of it like that helps me deal with missing letters, using one finger sometimes, etc.
