One of Google's primary points of interest when they revealed Android L at Google I/O 2014 was their "Material Design" concept. Since then we haven't seen much in the way of apps and features from the OS that showcase this design. Today's Tweet from a Googler changes that by teasing Google Now with the new Material Design aesthetic.
It's obviously nothing massively different than what we had before, but that's basically how things evolve sometimes. While we have brief shining moments when innovation shatters our perceptions with something ground-breaking, most of the time, it's a methodical plodding of incremental tweaks designed to enhance the overall experience.
