individual contact ringtones wont work

individual contact ringtones wont work anyone have any luck getting individual contact ringtones to work
i can set them but it always plays the default

im running rubix now
had the same problem on fission

I have the stock ROM, my individual ringtones work.

mine work perfectly fine. how are you setting the ringtones, and where do you have the ringtone file stored and what format is it in?

I go to the contact click options ad set ringtone.....tone are stored in system/media/ringtones
I have also tried from sd card

I tried to do that and couldn't find how to assign the ringtone..

Go to the contact, hit menu - edit, scroll down to additional info, tap that, scroll down again, you'll see assign ringtone.
