Info Not Forwarding Through Email

When I try to forward an email, the information does not send. I have my flight information from Travelocity, and I'm trying to send it to my friend from my Droid, and it doesn't send the information at all, it's just blank.

Does anyone have the same issue? Is there a way to possibly fix it?

Unfortunately this is my only issue with the phone. :huh:

Are you sending it from Gmail or Exchange or other?

I tested this with Gmail and it forwarded fine.

Also, what type of e-mail is your friend using? Could it be that the attachment is getting stripped out on their side? (Some Exchange Servers have rules about attachments and will strip out some attachments)

Ok, I used the Gmail and it worked fine. I was using the "Forward" at the top of the email, and for some reason that wasn't working. In order for it to work, I scrolled to the bottom of the email and there was the "Forward", used it, and it worked. Weird how I can't just use forward at the top, I have to go to the bottom of the email. The hotmail add on wouldn't work at all, which kind of sucks, because thats my main email account. I'll have to switch everything to my gmail now. Damn. Ol' Well.

forwarding emails problems

I have a droidx running 2.3 and when trying to forwarding email I cannot figure out how to strip previous senders, and I also have trouble forwarding from the top of the page. I can press and hold the outside button at the top and try to drag it toward the center, even though it doesn't move, then pressing the same button again and holding it brings up the forward keys. Such a pain and not being able to edit the addresses before forwarding email. They need a fix for this quick!!!!

email previous senders editing

Still don't see anyone who know how to strip previous senders from gmail. I can forward o.k., but editing the main message is my problem. Droidx does not allow you to do this as far as I can tell. If there is a way, I would like to know what the process is to accomplish this.
