Installing a theme *please help*

Hello everyone who reads this =]
I just installed gummy jar 2.5 and i was interested in installing the White and Gala-S GB w/10% battery theme, to be more exact, the teal round battery theme,
I have had bad experience installing themes on any rom and i would like to get this down correctly because i do not want boot loop.

If some one could tell me the true way to install the theme?
This is what i think,
boot into bootstrapper recovery,
back up (optional)
mount /system
install zip
unmount /system
reboot

if some one could please correct me and help me out.

thats all there is too it

allright thank you.
i'm off to installing it,
if anyone objects, speak now or forever rest in guilt that i got boot loop

it worked, but know my launcher dock is back to the froyo 2.2 dock.
is there a way to get the stock gummyjar one back?

Go get a gingerbread launcher from the market for free or get ADW launcher and a gingerbread theme for more themed icons and edit options. BTW both options are FREE!

i was hoping there was just a way to get the launcher back. Don't need adw to slow down the performance.
