internet radio apps crash phone

I have Droid RAZR MAXX with Android 4.0.4.
When I'm playing internet radio apps (SeriusXM, TuneIn Radio, Jazz Radio) the phone shuts down and reboots.
This occurs irregularly, sometimes every few minutes, sometimes not at all.
It does not occur when using any other types of apps.
Verizon said the problem is the apps compatibility with with the new OS has not caught up.
This seems unlikely, as this has been going on for a couple of months despite new app updates.
Anyone know anything about this problem?

I would recommend locating the latest version of the internet radio apps, compatible with Android 4.0.4. Operating system and downloading them on the mobile once again. If you’re still facing issues, check with the phone manufacturer or retail supplier for a possible replacement.
