Invisible Processes

I just got this phone and for some reason it is using half of its available RAM for tasks other than applications. I force stop all the apps and processes, but still half the RAM is being used. Coming from a DROID 2, this is not typical. On my old phone, unrooted, I was getting more than 3/4 of the total RAM.

Any Help would be great.

Generally used by the OS and other processes being used to keep the phone alive, I wouldn't worry about, Gingerbread does a great job at managing memory.

The adage is this: "free memory is wasted memory." it takes the same amount of energy to have a full memory then to have free memory.
