Some of the developers of iPhone apps seem to be a little complacent with developing counterpart apps for the Android Market. Maybe if we inundate them with requests and show them how high the demand is, they'll get off of their keysters and start with the Android development. To make this easier for us all, I've compiled a list of some of the most popular iPhone apps that don't have an Android version yet, along with the email addresses, twitter accounts, and 'contact us' sites that you can all use to contact the developers to simply say "We want an Android app!" Just like money, demand talks. Plus, every new app we get (or at least get someone to get started on) is one less thing the Apple fan boys can brag about!

Please feel free to add any apps you would want to see (like IMDB for instance). Make sure you include the corresponding contact info. I'm hoping the Moderators will make this a sticky thread.

NOTE: As I was developing this list, I was going to include eBay, since they did not have an official Android app...that is until I saw it in the Market a couple days ago! :icon_ banana: The apps are coming, we just have to keep pressing people for them.

AHHH what was that app!? It was one that had a list of hundreds of beers and their alc content and what they go good with as far as food. I frequented that one a LOT when I had my iTouch. I'm writing one now, but would like to have that one for now.

Ocarina-3D Rollercoaster Rush-Beejive IM-ZombieLand-Flood It 2-Any 1st Person Online Shooter.Yep thats pretty much it.

I Am T-Pain!!!!!

That app (or a knockoff) better be on Android very quickly :)

It is called Rev which provide OBDII reading with other parameters(Coolant Temp, Intake Temp) access with WIFI.

Ocarina. I would absolutely love for someone to make one for Droid! Every time I mention it someone has to say, "Ocarina on your phone?! Just go out and buy an Ocarina!" Ugh. Seriously? What a horrible argument.

I would gladly pay up to $10 for Ocarina that worked as well as the iPhone version.

I never play that game

Games Turf Wars (GPS enabled gangwars game where you take over turf where you live and go around to places, and Words (scrabble but you play with people online and alerts you when the other person made their turn). Only because iPhone friends of mine have this and giggle back and forth as they play. I doubt I would play though.

I REALLY want ESPN ScoreCenter for Android. Just sent them an e-mail requesting it.

*BUMP*

C'mon guys, let everyone know that you've sent emails asking for Android, like Petey did. And if there are other apps or games you want, please post the contact info for the developers. No one can convince someone to develop Android apps by themselves. We all need to help each other. Don't just wait around for more perks to come to the Android Market. Go annoy some people until they start respecting your choice of software. We can't let the iPhoneys get comfortable with their two-year head start on us.

Two words: DOODLE JUMP. Oh my GOD, that app and NFS Undercover are the only reason I keep my touch around.

I actually emailed Smule a while ago asking for the I AM T-Pain app to be ported. They told me that Android doesn't seem like a viable platform to them as a business which in my opinion is a big F U to us Android users.

Anyways, I would like to get Tapulous - Makers of the Tap Tap series of games to start porting stuff over.
