One thing that sets the Gear 2 smart watch apart from the others is the inclusion of an IR blaster. Yes this can be used to control your TV, but now thanks to development by "Cracksmurf" the Gear 2 can be used to control many other devices.

The app "IR Remote Gear 2" adds lots of functionality to the device including controls for Denon-AVC2000, Samsung-HT-Z320, Canon 600d, Nikon D5100, Xbox One, Konka-KL32PH92U, TCL-LED32D2730M, Hisense-Generic, and Freebox Crystal. The developer is also open to suggestions of which devices he should add to the app. Head to the link below for the download.

Control for the PS4 would be nice if possible, since there is already control for the Xbox One!
