Is Droid number 5 necessary?????

This phone hasnt updated my Facebook Notifications in atleast a month. Usually I get that Error message or it tries to tell me there are no new ones. I know better, but I think nothing of it and just avoid that menu altogether.

-Also.... the power button when held does not give me the regular menu.
I can only turn the phone off with it. (No Airplane mode etc.....)
-The "Dot Security function was turned OFF and will now not turn back on.

I have those same problems, and the home buttons and the magnifying glass dont work either but now i cant get to app market, this all started when i was in Italy and got an update for that anti virus app, i uninstalled that and all my other apps now...im not even sure if i have the latest version, my phone says its up to date but im not 100% it is

can any one tell me the exact version they are using?

Ive seen ppl on the Mac forums that have had 5, 6, 8 iPhones and really think they are just looking for problems so they can return it. While I realize there are hardware issues that warrant returns (I was a former generation 1 Sidekick user and had to return that thing 3 or 4 times), I think once you get to 5+ it becomes hard to believe anyone could have that much bad luck. Maybe its time for a different Android model.
