Is my phone ROOTED?

What is the easiest way to check and see if my phone is ROOTED?
I went through the process but not sure it worked. I dont get the
ninja icon with a sword so not sure it worked.

Thanks

The little ninja icon is pretty definitive of whether or not you have root. Another way to tell, though at this point I don't know why you would, is typing su in Terminal Emulator. If it comes up with an Allow or Deny box you're rooted. But you're not.

Yes, the ninja icon is pretty definitive for rooting.

Once the phone is rooted, the ninja icon(if you press it) will give you a list of the commands you've allowed that override the system defaults.

That being said, if you don't have a ninja you aren't very ninja. :P

You could also try using a terminal program and type su and see if you get the # returned.
I did not have the ninja show up the first time I rooted.

even if you use sholesmod the screen will look the same as far as the "ninja"
