is my phone unlocked

I bought droid 2 global using ebay. seller told me that it is unlocked and it will be working in poland. so being in the usa I put inside my polish sim card and phone asked my about network code. my sim card has roaming enabled and provider from my country is using at&t to connect with his phones in USA

possibilities:

1. my phone is locked for 100 % (because it shows sim network code request)

2. there is possibility that it is unlocked (it showing code request in USA because verizone blocks all providers from USA, but they dont block polish sim cards) so i should check in poland to be sure


i hope i didnt make to many mistakes - sorry for my english

Your phone is locked.

That is, if you get a request like “Network unlock PIN” or “Enter subsidy code”, it is definitely locked. An unlocked phone does not request anything except the SIM's PIN.
