I got this last friday and its been running great minus the 5 hour battery life, but sometimes when I'm in text it lags a lot, or ill click on someones name and someone else's chat will popop up, and lately its just been freezing completley. I've actually had to restart my phone twice today, one of the times I had to take the battery out be'ause it was completley frozen. Even as I write this the typing is completley lagging. Also, and this has happend twice so far but when I charge my phone at night and turn the phone off, it doesn't charge. Could it be the apps over downloaded? I have better keyboard 8 with the matrix screen, beautiful widgets, advanced task killer and powermax are always running and i uuse gochat for Facebook chat, but honestly I've had minor problems like this straight out the box before I #ownloaded most this stuff. Hell this post just took me nearly 20 min to write due to the lag. What @hould I do, is it just me?

If you were having issues like this before the apps were downloaded then I'd start by doing a factory reset and see if that helps. If that doesn't help, then I'd check into swapping it out.

If the issues really got going after installing some apps then I would reset and install the apps one at a time, checking the performance after each install. If the issues start happening again after you install one of the apps then you know the culprit.

Hope that helps!

Agreed! Do a factory restart and play with that bad boy for a while first. If it still performs as it does when you wrote this post, then take that sucker back. I played with a TB in the store that exhibited lagging symptoms that I didn't have in my phone.

If I do a factory reset will I lose all my contacts?

Not if they're saved as google contacts. All google contacts will be restored when you sign back into your google account.

How about start by removing that task killer...I'm in 3g area and get down to 20% battery after 26 hours. That's with decent usage

Agreed!!! Sorry, I somehow missed that you were using a task killer. I bet you probably have it on auto kill too?

TASK KILLERS DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD AND IS PROBABLY MOST OF YOUR TROUBLE!!!

I bet if you stop using atk you'll get better battery life and less bugs overall. If you need to manage your running apps, as i do, create a shortcut on your homescreen for "Running Services" and you can force stop apps that keep running from there. 1 example is Google maps...it runs in the background when I barely use it, so I force stop it as soon as I start my phone.

Good luck, hope this helps you out...
