Is the Droid unlockable?

Used the search function, and all i found was something about a droid flashed to metro, but ive got a friend who's bound to tmob with a blackberry. Ever since i got my droid hes been aching to get an android phone, but refuses to get one without a physical keyboard, hence no nexus. Is it possible to get the droid to work on tmobile? apparently retail price doesnt matter.

you need a gsm phone. search ebay for an unlocked motorola milestone it is basicly the same phone as the droid just its gsm (uses a sim card)
