Is the phone supposed to unlock after a call?

So if my phone has been locked and I place or receive a call using my bluetooth handsfree in the car I would like it to relock after the call just in case it's in my pocket so I don't phantom dial anyone. I've never had a phone that doesn't do this. Is this something that's possible on the Droid X?

Have you tried setting up a screen lock pattern? I know there is a free widget in the market to toggle it on and off so you don't have to go into settings every time.

I have not tried this just throwing it out there.

I do have a screen lock pattern but it only kicks in after 20 min as I don't want to do it all the time.

What I've noticed is if I place or answer a call with the phone itself it'll correctly lock after the call. It doesn't lock if I use the handsfree though and that's when it should DEFINITELY lock as you obviously aren't handling the phone.

I use the widget to toggle the lock pattern off/on. I only use it when I'm at work.

Tomorrow I will try it in my car both ways and see what happens. I never paid attention to it before but I don't leave my phone in my pocket.

I know this is a little late but...I tried the lock pattern with an incoming call using my cars bluetooth, It came up normal on my phone where you need to slide over to answer.
