I was for months, a fat happy Liberty Rom user.. i sbf'd back to froyo to get the Gingerbread OTA (mistake).. now i want my liberty back (and Gingerbread)! I understand i need to sbf back again to froyo and then use the THB 596 OTA rooted gingerbread in order get LBG .7..my three questions are this...
1st am i correct?
2nd is there a guide for this exact scenario?
3rd Should I wait for Root?
I must believe that there are many in my situation.

You are correct.
Any SBF guide will do. Sbf the full .340
re-root.
Bootstrap.
2zip install of GingerbreadOTA with root.
Flash liberty 0.7, which is buggy as hell.

So maybe a fourth option is to wait for root and version 1.0, hmmm

I love liberty.
I kind of love liberty GB.

It's stable, for sure.
But there are simply A LOT of kinks that need to be worked out.

It'll take you an hour...and if you don't like it...30 minutes to go back to where you are. Try it.

Yes i think i will.. i used this guide to sbf last month.. will this still work now that i am on 596

Yes the bootloader remained the same with the OTA.

I also disagree. I have not had any bugs at all. Just make sure you always do a totally clean install of Liberty. v0.7 is so smooth and not a single reboot or anything. Sometimes I find myself trying to donate again, just for fun.
